Being Taught From My Wagering Failures

1st to clarify why I write this article. I have been wagering online or at land based betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning run. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you start to track your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you try the faster you are deprived.

When you notice that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this concept almost never ever works. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside before starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, regardless how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate pot. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar casino, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, another time.

Keep in mind, betting should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, do not even begin.
